POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Linda A. DeGrandis (Desormier), a lifelong area resident of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, July 14. She was 71.
She was born on Dec.17,1944, in Poughkeepsie, to Charles R. and Alice (Germond) Milligan.
She and her first husband, Donald Desormier, owned and operated DJ’s Recreational Vehicles in Fishkill Plains for many years. She then worked for Dutchess Dodge until she retired 16 years ago.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Klein and her husband Eric of Wappingers Falls; her grandsons, Joshua and Zachary Klein; her sisters, Alice Dunagan and her husband James of Homosassa, Fla. and Mary Krahn of Watertown.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Desormier; and her second husband, Philip E. DeGrandis Jr.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19, from 10 a.m. until noon at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held at noon at the funeral home followed by burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Poughkeepsie.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
